Michigan iGaming fans will soon have more games to play online thanks to new partnerships with game developers and the MGCB.
On August 15, the Michigan Gaming Control Board approved 1X2 Network’s entry into Michigan’s online casino market. 1X2 Network was awarded a complete gaming supplier license that allows the developer to bring their unique titles to Michigan-based online casinos. Now, the developer can partner with existing online casinos in Michigan to bring their games to more players.
Michigan marks the first US state where 1X2 is fully licensed. The UK-based company has experienced widespread success in Europe and more recently, Ontario.
1X2 Network CEO Kevin Reid commented on the news, stating, “We’re immensely proud to bring our content to the U.S.A. and Michigan represents one of the first states to fully appreciate the powerful opportunities for regulated iGaming. We share Michigan’s belief in the sector’s future being in regulation, and we welcome the challenge to strengthen our position in the U.S.A. amongst such exciting competition.”

Some popular titles by these studios include Maverick, 1 Million Megaways BC, 1 Million Fortunes Megaways, and Iron Dog’s Strike Series of Hold and Win titles.
Michigan Approves NetGaming Partnership
The Michigan Gaming Control Board approved another casino content partnership between NetGaming and BetMGM. The Malta-based online gaming developer secured an igaming supplier license from the MGCB in January of this year. As of August 10th, however, they are exclusive to BetMGM and are officially launching their games to the BetMGM platform.
The company’s CEO, Pallavi Deshmukh, commented on the news, stating, “We are thrilled to receive the licence. The licensing process in the US is arduous and is a big undertaking. We worked relentlessly to ensure all the i’s were dotted and the t’s were crossed. For a start-up to receive an igaming licence in the US is no small feat. I am incredibly proud of our team, who are my strength. We can’t wait to go live with our launch partner.”
BetMGM will be the first online casino brand in the US to feature NetGaming’s portfolio of games. The state’s most popular online casino now has even more games for players!
Oliver Bartlett, Director of Gaming at BetMGM, commented on the partnership, “At BetMGM we’re driven to offer players more choices and the most entertaining, fresh, and exclusive content available on the market. We’re thrilled to be working with NetGaming, as they have an exciting portfolio of games that will appeal to our customers in Michigan and beyond.”
Pallavi Deshmukh, CEO of NetGaming said the company was “thrilled to launch in Michigan with BetMGM. It’s a testament to our hard work over many years. Securing a long-term deal with the top iGaming operator in the U.S. is extremely exciting and we look forward to working with BetMGM to deliver entertaining games. This is just the beginning of our relationship with BetMGM, as we intend to launch our content across the country, as more states regulate.”
