MGM Grand Detroit

Starting off our list is one of the most successful and well-known casino brands not just in Michigan but across the globe, the MGM casino in Detroit. Detroit has its very own MGM casino, the MGM Grand Detroit, located at 1777 3rd Ave. The casino/hotel features more than 400 rooms, four restaurant options, and a massive casino floor. According to the company’s website, the casino floor stretches 147,000 square feet. With more than 2,950 slots and table games, a dedicated poker room, and a sports lounge, there is something for every gaming fan.

The casino’s online casino brand, BetMGM, has also experienced widespread success since launching and features over 1,141 games you can enjoy from anywhere in the state. 

FireKeepers Casino Hotel

Next on our list is the FireKeepers Casino Hotel, located in Battle Creek, Michigan, at 11177 East Michigan Ave. The casino/hotel features more than 440 rooms, four restaurant options, and a casino floor stretching 107,000 square feet. With more than 3,000 slots and table games, a dedicated poker room, and a sports lounge (Dacey’s Sportsbook), there are dozens of ways for sports fans, casino goers, and entertainment enthusiasts to enjoy a weekend at FireKeepers. Not to mention the multiple poker tournaments held at FireKeepers every year and the array of musicians that perform at the events center. 

The casino’s online brand, FireKeepers Casino, has recently added 31 new games to its platform, bringing its total game count to 250. 

MotorCity Casino Hotel

MotoryCity is the third casino in Detroit on our list, and if you haven’t paid a visit, it’s worth checking out. The MotorCity Casino Hotel is Detroit’s only locally-owned and operated casino. The casino hotel location boasts 400 large and luxurious rooms and suites, a spa, a fitness center, and an array of dining options. With over 2,500 games to choose from on the casino floor, you’ll have no problem discovering a game you enjoy. The casino hotel offers stay-and-play offers as well as seasonal specials. 

MotorCity’s online casino partner, FanDuel, has 586 games available for online casino players. The brand just recently added 219 new titles to its platform. 

Turtle Creek Casino and Hotel

The Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians have three resorts and casinos in the Traverse City and surrounding Areas. The Turtle Creek Casino and Hotel, one of the most popular resorts in the state, is located at 7741 M-72 in Williamsburg, MI 49690, about a 20-minute drive from Traverse City. With a 56,000-square-foot casino floor with 1,000 slots and denominations from a penny to $100. The hotel’s 137 rooms were also recently updated. From new soaking tubs to new beds, decorations, and a new lobby, the Turtle Creek Hotel and Casino is looking fresher than ever before. 

The Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians also have an online casino thanks to a partnership with Caesars. Caesars online casino has 234 games to choose from.
