Online casino content creator NetGaming is making its US debut as the company recently announced its entrance into Michigan’s online casino market.
According to the press release made by NetGaming, the company was awarded a license to begin operating by the Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB) in January 2023.
The online casino content creator will now bring its library of casino games to Michigan players with popular titles like Aped, Casino Punks, Juicy Gold 100, and 3 Wild Jokers.
During the press release Pallavi Deshmukh, NetGaming’s CEO, said: “We are thrilled to receive the licence. The licensing process in the US is arduous and is a big undertaking. We worked relentlessly to ensure all the i’s were dotted and the t’s were crossed . . . For a start-up to receive an igaming licence in the US is no small feat. I am incredibly proud of our team, who are my strength. We can’t wait to go live with our launch partner.”
New Permit
The new permit awarded by the MGCB will allow NetGaming to partner with online casino providers in the state and bring its growing library of games to Michigan’s iGaming market. NetGaming cannot open an online casino of its own, however, as the company was approved to only offer casino content and games to operators.
As mentioned, four titles by NetGaming will be available at launch. NetGaming made it clear during its announcement that an added suite of titles would be arriving later in the year.
Michigan Represents Just the Start
NetGaming highlighted Michigan’s continued sports betting and iGaming success as a reason for selecting the state for its US debut. Just like many iGaming developers and game creators in the past, NetGaming is looking to bring its product across the entire US. And it seems like they are off to a great start, with many state licenses likely already in the works.
About NetGaming
NetGaming is based in Malta and was founded in 2019. The company was created by a few online casino industry professionals committed to creating a more enjoyable experience for players online. Their combined experience and industry knowledge led the company to quickly become a force to be reckoned with in the online casino world.
NetGaming reportedly has just 25 employees, yet it has licenses and certifications in multiple jurisdictions.
Currently, the online casino game developer is licensed in Malta, the UK, and Curaçao. The company also has certifications in both Georgia and Belarus. NetGaming has also recently acquired a license in Greece and is planning on launching in Michigan and Greece simultaneously.
NetGaming prides itself on creating unique games with exciting concepts and revolutionary features. NewGaming develops a diverse array of themes, characters, backdrops, sound effects, and music that brings every game to life. The iGaming development company credits all its work to its amazing team of developers, creators, and innovators.
Future US Development
We’ll likely see NetGaming partnering with a well-known US casino brand to make its journey across the US iGaming market easier. One North American company that NetGaming has a history with is 888 Holdings. 888 Holdings, the parent company for many online casino, poker, and sports betting brands, partnered with NetGaming in the UK. We may see NetGaming further develop this relationship by partnering with 888 Holdings in the US.
