Michigan Contributions
FireKeepers Casino Hotel, owned by The Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi, has positively impacted its employees, its local community, and the entire state of Michigan.
The owners of FireKeeper Casino Hotel announced last week that this year’s contributions totaled $27.4 million. The announcement drives the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of Potawatomi lifetime revenue profit shares to surpass $260 million. The Greater Calhoun County Region was awarded $6.1 million, the surrounding area of the state capital (Lansing) received $36.5 million, West Michigan acquired $10.7 million, and the Metro Detroit area was awarded $2.5 million.
Some of the Michigan groups who have also benefited from the contributions include:

Non-Profit Efforts
In addition to these distributions, FireKeepers also support and donate funds to many Michigan non-profits. The casino has numerous stations where guests can leave their loose change and slot machine vouchers that then get donated to Battle Creek charities like Haven of Rest Ministry, South Michigan Food Bank, and SAFE Place.
The VP of marketing at the FireKeeper Casino, Jim Wise, expresses how much the company values helping the community.
“Giving back has become the identity of FireKeepers Casino Hotel. From our multiple foods, coat, toy, and blood drive, FireKeepers Casino Hotel has consistently helped our neighbors in need.”
