BetMGM Becomes Premier Sportsbook Sponsor Of Sunday Night Football

Latest News

BetMGM and NBC Sports recently announced a new partnership for the 2022 and 2023 NFL seasons. BetMGM is now the premier sports betting sponsor for Sunday NFL Games. The deal comes shortly after Amazon Prime Video selected DraftKings as its official sportsbook for Thursday Night Football. The partnership between NBC Sports and BetMGM makes BetMGM the official sportsbook of Sunday NFL football.

BetMGM Replaces PointsBet

PointsBet Sportsbook was the previous sports betting sponsor for Sunday football but is taking more of a smaller role with NBC Sports this year. The sports betting brand will still be featured on NBC streaming service Peacock. PointsBet will likely be featured during other NBC Sports broadcasts like Premier League, golf, MLB, and cycling, according to lineups.com.

The new partnership will see BetMGM’s branded content and betting odds throughout a variety of broadcasts by the station. Throughout the day, BetMGM’s real-time betting odds will be shown on the station giving players reliable data right from BetMGM on games they’re watching.

As part of the partnership, BetMGM will be featured on Football Night in America, where former NFL quarterback Chris Simms and sports betting legend Matthew Berry highlight betting odds and storylines for the Sunday Night game. After the game, Peacock hosts its Sunday Night Football Final, where the NBC Sports team dives deeper into the game and analyzes what happened that night.

BetMGM, Chief Revenue Officer, Matt Prevost, commented on the recent partnership stating, “The biggest goal of our partnerships is to reach, resonate and engage with fans, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to work with the talented team at NBC Sports to do just that this NFL season . . . We look forward to bringing football fans nationwide insights from the BetMGM trading team, as well as entertaining segments that showcase the excitement of betting with BetMGM.”

Matthew Berry BetMGM Podcast Integration

Matthew Berry will also be featuring BetMGM content on his podcast Fantasy Football Happy Hour with Matthew Berry and NBC show Fantasy Football Pregame with Matthew Berry.
