Last week, gaming content developer Evolution signed an agreement with the Soaring Eagle Casino and Hotel to provide online casino games and content. The premier casino and hotel is owned and operated by the Saginaw Chippewa Tribe. The Soaring Eagle opened in 1998 and recently launched its new online gaming platform, Eagle Casino & Sports. The new online sportsbook and casino app launched in April this year. The recent partnership with Evolution should only strengthen Soaring Eagle’s position among the 14 other internet gaming and sports betting providers.
The agreement gives the online casino access to an abundance of new games. Players using the Eagle Casino and Sports app will now have access to Evolution, NetEnt, and Red Tiger games in Michigan. One of the most exciting aspects of this partnership is Evolution’s premier first-person online casino games. These RNG (random number generator) first-person games are new to the online casino market and are often described as a hybrid between RNG and live-dealer games. Players will feel like they’re actually at the table, delivering an impressive gaming experience for gaming fans in Michigan.
When Evolution released its first-person library, the technology was revolutionary, and the company claimed it was the first of its kind in the world. The mix between live-dealer and RNG-style games is unique and offers Michiganders an exciting new way to play their favorite games. The first-person style games are also less intimidating for new players since there isn’t a strict time limit like live-dealer games.
Fans of traditional slots games will also find an array of new games on Soaring Eagle’s app, thanks to Evolution’s multiple casino content brands. Currently, Red Tiger has already launched many state-of-the-art slots games, including Gonzo’s Quest Megaways and Piggy Riches Megaways. NetEnt, another subsidiary of Evolution, will also be bringing some of its popular games to the Eagle Casino and Sports app. Titles such as Starburst, Fruit Shop Megaways, and Divine Fortune Megaways are expected to launch in the next couple of weeks.
The CEO of Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort, Melinda Coffin, is particularly excited about the new partnership, stating, “we are confident that customers old and new are going to love what is the latest in a long line of Soaring Eagle developments. In table games alone, Soaring Eagle prides itself on offering the hottest gaming action in the Midwest. Now our players will be able to experience the same thrill online, not only playing the casino classics but also exciting and entertaining game show-style games.” The recent developments by Soaring Eagle showcase how serious the company is about its online offerings.
Evolution’s commercial director for North America, Jeff Millar also commented on the new partnership stating, “we are absolutely delighted that Soaring Eagle Casino is now live with such a wide selection of games from brands within the group in Michigan . . . players will be able to immerse themselves in a uniquely entertaining Soaring Eagle online gaming experience from anywhere in the state.”
Evolution experienced a record-breaking year in 2021, reporting over $1.1 billion in revenue. The company is off to a great start in 2022 and is expected to generate another record-breaking year after last year’s performance. In Q1 of this year, Evolution reported that its profits had grown by 50%. The partnership is expected to bring new users to Soaring Eagle’s new casino and sports app. Currently, Soaring Eagle will be the only online casino in the state to offer first-person games. Time will tell whether the partnership between Evolution and the Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort will bring more Michigan players to the app.
